The 40th edition of the Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan was held on Sunday, August 4th being one of the bicentennial events celebrated in 2019. This year forty-five tartan flags were presented and blessed.
Participants included Mackie Robertson, guest speaker; Father Rory MacDonald, guest reader; and Trisha DeCoeur, guest vocalist. Performing musical selections were the Glengarry Strathspey and Reel Society, Elizabeth Cadell, Bill Connors, Bruce Blaney, Kathy Fraser Collins and the Quigley Highlanders Pipes and Drums.
