Rev. Julia Apps-Douglas

The Reverend Julia E. Apps Douglas graduated from Knox College, University of Toronto in 2005. Prior to her entering full time ministry Ms. Apps Douglas had extensive pulpit supply experience in the Presbytery of Montreal, and the Presbytery of Hamilton. Ms. Apps Douglas has three adult children: Cpl. Nathanael Douglas (Canadian Army), Robyn Douglas (fourth year student at Lakehead University) and Colin Douglas (second year student at Fleming College) and one husband, The Reverend James Douglas.

Ms. Apps Douglas enjoys reading, camping, gardening, her two dogs (Sophia & Coco), and all forms of technology.

Ms. Apps Douglas was ordained in 2007 and was inducted to the Kenyon, Dunvegan and St. Columba, Kirk Hill Presbyterian pastoral charge in July 2007. Since being inducted Ms. Apps Douglas has served as Moderator of the Presbytery of Seaway Glengarry 2012 – 2013 and currently serves on the Synod Regional Staff Committee and on the Gracefield Board.

Reverend Julia E. Apps Douglas retired on 17 December 2017.
